A couple of months ago I saw this inteview in The Colbert Report about the website edx.org, which offers free courses taught by some of the most renowed teachers in the world. I didn’t pay too much attention until a cousin of mine recently told me he has followed some of the courses and they’re great.
After browsing some courses I found this great one on Greek literature. Looks great because it focuses on the Greek Hero, the archetype (or protoype) for the modern hero we find in films, books and even video games today.
After reading A Hero With a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell, this looks like a great way to deepen my knowledge in the area.
Also, it’s a free course offered by Harvard.
